Defending Parents, Protecting Children, Ending Medical Mutilation

On August 21, 2025, Dr. Simone Gold and the AFLDS legal team filed an amici curiae brief with the Supreme Court of the United States in support of the Petitioners in Foote v. Ludlow School Committee (25-77).

In this high stakes case, Massachusetts parents (Petitioners) are challenging school officials (Respondents) who attempted to push their minor children toward a “gender transition” - without parental knowledge or consent. By filing this brief, AFLDS is urging the High Court to grant the Petitioners’ writ of certiorari and reverse the lower courts’ reckless rulings - reaffirming that parents, not government actors, have the constitutional right to direct their children’s upbringing.

This case exposes a disturbing trend of schools undermining the family by introducing radical ideology into the classroom and deliberately excluding parents from life-altering decisions. The Supreme Court is now being asked to reaffirm what should never have been questioned: parents are the primary protectors of their children’s health, education, and future.

America’s Frontline Doctors maintains the position that ANY attempt to secretly “transition” children represents gross violations of parental rights and medical ethics. These actions are not harmless - they cause lifelong psychological trauma, physical harm, and permanent irreversible sterilization. The U.S. Department of Health and Human Services recently published a comprehensive review underscoring the lack of scientific support for the use of puberty blockers, cross-sex hormones, and surgeries, while highlighting the significant risks they pose to minors.

“No government employee has the authority to step between parents and their children,” said AFLDS attorney David Dalia. “When a school conspires to conceal critical information and promote dangerous medical practices, it isn’t protecting children - it is betraying them. The Constitution is crystal clear. The right to guide a child’s upbringing rests with the parents, and we will not allow schools to trample that right.”

Children deserve stability, truth, and protection, not secrecy and experimentation. AFLDS stands with every parent who refuses to hand their child over to this radical agenda. We will not rest until these abuses are stopped in every school district across America.”

Foote is about far more than one Massachusetts town. It is about whether American families will be empowered to safeguard their children - or whether schools will be allowed to bypass parents and impose dangerous ideologies on the youngest and most vulnerable. AFLDS calls on the Supreme Court to act decisively and reaffirm that parental rights are fundamental, inviolable, and non-negotiable.
